Aranda who owns and operates Party Favors, 3425 Kinzie Ave. did sell the counterfeit products to a private investigator working with Nike.

Judge Faye Flancher said Aranda flaunted warnings.
“Even after you were served with a cease and desist order you did continue to (sell fake products) on at least one occasion,” she said.

His sentence includes a stayed sentance of 60 days in the county jail which his probation agent can use if he violates any term of his probation. Flancher also ordered Aranda not to sell counterfeit merchandise if he is in business on his own.
