Racine Police have released that they have made an arrest in connection with the January 9th armed robbery of a candy store on Memorial.

On Saturday, January 9, 2016, at 8:07pm, officers responded to Your Mini Sweet Shop, 1132 S. Memorial Dr. reference an armed robbery. Upon officers arrival, they spoke with the store clerk who stated an unknown suspect entered the store, pointed a handgun at him and demanded money from the register. The clerk gave the suspect an unknown amount of cash, and the suspect fled the store in an unknown direction.

The investigation is active and ongoing. Investigators conducted a neighborhood canvas and are currently following up on leads and information. No suspect description is available at this time.
