Bethany DeMark Zimpel shared little Arlo’s story with us in hopes that by the end of Christmas Day they could reach the $12,500 goal to help her little nephew and his family while he battles cancer. They are only a little more than $2,500 away from their goal.

One year old Arlo was diagnosed on 12/16/15 with a rare and aggressive liver cancer that has spread to his lungs. Arlo and his family live right here in Racine. Arlo will fight this with chemotherapy and a liver transplant. His parents are not offered paid medical leave and will be without income while they go through this journey with Arlo.

He is currently under going chemo at Children’s Hospital of Milwaukee. Once they can clear his lungs of cancer he will be able to be put on the liver transplant list. He needs that liver transplant. Arlo’s aunt-Bethany DeMark Zimpel made a goal of $8000 and would shave her head in honor of Arlo. They met that goal. Now she states that, “We have a goal of $12500 for my husband to shave his head. This is out Christmas wish. To help my our little nephew and family”.
