Officials with the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Office believe that the body of a man found in a cornfield in Paris on September 26 is Tywon Anderson.

During the press conference, officials stated that Anderson was reported missing a week earlier — on September 19th. The Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department is calling the death suspicious and the information they can give out is limited right now because they are looking for people of interest. They say no one is in custody for this situation.

The Kenosha County Sheriff believes Anderson had been dead for seven days before he was found. They cannot say at this point if where he was found where he was killed — or just where his body was placed. The sheriff says the public is not at risk — he believes this was a targeted act. The sheriff also says the victim was believed to be involved in some sort of illegal activity.

Anyone who knows what happened or has information is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 262-656-7333 or the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department.
