Caledonia Police ask residents around 3 Mile and Main to be vigilant

Area of concern:Apartment parking lots in the area of Three Mile and Main St. in Caledonia and Racine.
On November 8th and 9th around 11:45 PM, the Caledonia Police Department received calls for 2 subjects wearing dark hooded clothing using flashlights to look inside vehicles. These complaints came from residents of the Lakeshore Village and Concord Apartment complexes. Squads responded to the area and checked for the subjects without success. As of this writing, no victims of thefts from vehicles have called to report a crime.

The Caledonia Police Department would like to take this opportunity to remind residents to always lock your cars. Hide any valuables inside their car. Activate your car’s alarm if it is so equipped and to always be aware of your surroundings at night.
