For Case High School, homecoming isn’t just about football and dances but giving back to the community.
The student council makes an annual donation from the profit the school makes during homecoming. This year, they chose to donate $1,000 to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Foundation.
“Choosing an organization like the Leukemia and Lymphoma Foundation will hopefully help a lot of people,” said Hannah MecArtney, student council senior class co-president. “Leukemia is a big issue, and it’s nice to help in any way that we can.”
