Chicago man arrested on drug charges after being stopped for speeding

police lights-handcuffsTelly Flunder, 41 of Chicago Illiniois has been charged with Possess w/Intent-Cocaine (>40g) and Possess w/Intent-THC (<=200 grams) and is being held on $5,000 cash bond after making his initial appearance in Racine Circuit Courts. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for June 3, 2015 at 8:30.

According to the criminal complaint, on May 22, 2015, Deputies with thethe Racine County Sheriff’s Office stopped a vehicle traveling northbound on I-94 in the Town of Raymond, for speeding. When deputies made contact with the defendant they immediately detected the odor of marijuana emanating from the interior of the vehicle and confirmed that the defendant had a number of outstanding warrants through the Brown Deer Police Department.

As Deputies searched the vehicle they located located multiple cellular telephones that were both plugged in and charging, a bag of Lays Barbeque flavor potato chips which contained 63.9 grams of cocaine and 114.3 grams of marijuana.
