City of Racine accepting applications for Relief Crossing Guards

CityLogoThe City of Racine is accepting applications on a continual basis for the position of Relief Crossing Guard with the Racine Police Department. Relief Guards will work on an as-needed basis and may be considered for regular guard openings as they occur. Relief Guards must be available on short notice. Incumbents would work approximately 2-4 hours per day on a split shift (morning, noon hour, and after school) from late August to June as well as during summer school sessions.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or its equivalent, have the ability to pass a criminal background check, and be able to work with school age children. A valid Wisconsin drivers license and reliable vehicle to drive to work are desirable.

The starting rate of pay is $10.94 per hour. Qualified interested candidates may apply at the Workforce Development Center, Resource Room, 1717 Taylor Avenue, Racine, WI, or at the City of Racine, Human Resource Department located at:
