City of Racine Winter Parking Regulations start December 1st

TAKE EFFECT DECEMBER 1

Seven Days a Week, Alternate Side Parking Regulations are in effect from December 1 to April 1, excepting Thanksgiving Day, December 25 th and January 1 st.

Vehicles must park on the even-numbered address side of the street between 2 a.m. and 6 a.m. of an even-numbered calendar day; and on the odd-numbered side of the street between 2 a.m. and 6 a.m. of an odd-numbered day.

Vehicles violating these restrictions are subject to ticketing and a $20 fine.

During declared Snow Emergencies: 1) no parking is allowed on arterial and collector streets while the Snow Emergency is in effect, violators will be towed; 2) on local streets, odd/even side parking restrictions (based on the following day’s date) start when a Snow Emergency is declared, and remain in effect until 6 a.m.
