Couple charged with multiple felonies after selling heroin to authorities

Lynn M Bartoszuk, 35, address listed as homeless has been charged with five counts of Manufacture/Deliver Heroin (<3g), two counts of Manuf/Deliver Schedule I, II Narcotics, Possess Drug Paraphernalia, Possess/Illegally Obtained Prescription, Possession of Controlled Substance, and Possession of Narcotic Drugs. She was given a $2,500 cash bond after making her initial appearance in Racine Circuit Courts, Tuesday afternoon.

Thadeus F Bartoszuk, 38 of Burlington, has been charged with two counts of Manufacture/Deliver Heroin (<3g) and was given a $1,500 cash bond. Their preliminary hearings are both scheduled for March 9,2016.

According to the criminal complaint, on September 30, 2015, after coordinating the purchase from the female defendant, the Racine Metro County Drug Unit made a controlled purchase of Heroin from the male defendant. On six different occasions the Racine Metro County Drug Unit and Racine Police Department Special Investigations Unit made controlled purchases from the female defendant during October, November and December of 2015. The purchases included heroin, Oxycodene hydrochloride (percosets) pills, and Methadone hydrochloride pills.

On February 26, 2016 the defendant was located in the area of Sylvania Ave and was taken into custody. When officers searched her purse they recovered, a clear plastic pill crusher containing a plastic baggie corner with what tested positive for heroin and weighed less than .01 grams. Officers also located a crack pipe, an Altoids container containing 3 pills which were identified as Viagra, and one pills which tested positive for Butalbital, all of which the defendant didn’t have a valid prescription for.
