On 6/25/2015, at 7:29am, Mount Pleasant officers along with South Shore Fire and Rescue were dispatched to a motorcycle vs. semi tractor trailer on Hwy 20 at the I94 onramp. Upon arrival, officers found that the operator of the motor cycle was westbound on Hwy 20 approaching the traffic signal intersection with the I94 at the northbound on ramp as a Semi tractor trailer was attempting a left turn from eastbound Hwy 20 onto the northbound I94 on ramp. The motorcycle impacted the right side of the tractor. Reports were the cyclist was breathing, but not conscious, wearing a helmet at the time.

transport as the motorcycle operator died from his injuries. The Racine County Medical Examiner was called to the scene. The motorcycle operator name is being withheld pending notification to the family.
