Gilmore Middle School students had a special message for fifth graders at Red Apple Elementary School.
Dressed in royal blue capes and masks, the eighth grade girls, also known as the Hate Fighters, spoke to Red Apple students about bullying.
The girls are part of a group called the Principal’s Mentoring Council. Throughout the year, they participate in different activities and community events to help promote leadership. Earlier this year, you could find the group mentoring younger students at Wadewitz Elementary School or working with the elderly at area nursing homes.
