A police officer observed David M. Brocksom, 43, driving toward the Gurnee Police Department parking lot at 7:45 p.m. The officer pulled Brocksom’s car over and took him into custody “without incident,” police said.
From the Chicago Sun Times- Gurnee police are searching for a man in connection with a homicide at a home in the north suburb Sunday morning.
David M. Brocksom, 43, is a person of interest in the homicide at a home in the 3700 block of Pacific Avenue, according to Gurnee police.
At 9:25 a.m., officers called to a report of an injured person found someone dead at the home, police said.
Authorities secured a perimeter around the house and told residents of the neighborhood to stay inside. Police did not find victims or suspects when they searched the home.
Police did not release other details on the death other than that it is thought to be domestic-related and is being investigated as a homicide.
Brocksom is described as a 5-foot-11, 400-pound man with brown hair and eyes. He might be driving a blue 2003 Dodge minivan with Wisconsin license plates of 862TJH, police said.
Police say he should be considered armed and dangerous and urge anyone who sees him to call 911. Anyone with information should call Gurnee police at (847) 599-7000.
