Kenosha Police are searching for suspect in abduction

From the Kenosha News and Kenosha Police Department-Kenosha Police are searching for a abduction victim they believe was taken by force from her home early this morning.
Police were called to an apartment at 1666 Birch Road by a neighbor who said three children had fled their home saying their father was beating up their mother.
When police arrived they found an empty apartment, evidence of a struggle and blood.

A surveillance video from the apartment complex showed a man forcing a woman, who had a facial injury, out of the building and into a 2006 silver Dodge Charger with Illinois plate number 8723106.

The suspect is believed to be 33-year-old Jeremy Tyron Shorter. Pictured here, he is described as a 59, 270-pound black male wearing a dark jacket.

The victim, who is not being named, is a 51, 196-pound 31-year-old white woman.
