Man charged in connection with large scale cocaine distribution

According to the criminal complaint Investigators with the Racine Police Department have been actively involved in an ongoing investigation into the sales of illegal narcotics by the defendant. Through the course of the investigation it was apparent to police that the defendant was distributing large amounts of cocaine in the Racine and Milwaukee areas. Further stated in the criminal complaint, the defendant was allegedly utilizing a local Racine bar in the 1800 block of Taylor Ave to distribute narcotics and engage in illegal high stakes card games. Officers obtained search warrants to two locations one in the 2000 block of Clark Street the other being in the 1500 block of Holmes Ave and his vehicle.

On May 25, 2016 Officers observed the defendant operating his vehicle in the 16th and Memorial area. A traffic stop was initiated. Investigators obtained the keys to the Clark Street residence and executed the no knock search warrant. The defendant was brought to the residence and read the warrant. Police recovered inside the Clark Street residence:
A baggie with a white substance that tested positive for cocaine and weight 5.2 grams
A $20 bill containing a white substance which tests positive for cocaine and weighed 1.5 grams
A white plastic Menards bag which had a large white chunky substance that weighed 96.2 grams and tested positive for cocaine in a vehicle which was included in the search warrant that the defendant had been seen in.

Various W2-G paperwork from Potowatomi Casino in Milwaukee and Horseshoe Hammond Casino in Hammond IN showing receipts of $53,450 recovered from a vehicle at the Holmes Property address and a vehicle located at that address.
