Man charged with 4th OWI & Resisting/Obstructing


drunk driving 1 Jorge Alba, 38 of Kenosha has been charged with OWI (4th) and Resisting or Obstructing an Officer. He was given a $2,000 cash bond after making his initial appearance in Racine Circuit court, Monday afternoon. His Pre-trial conference is scheduled on 12-17-2015.
Inmate records also show that a hold has been place on him by Wisconsin Department of Corrections.

According to the criminal complaint on November 13, 2015 Caledonia Police responded to the intersection of Six Mile and Nicholson Road for reports of a reckless driver. Officer located the suspect vehicle and initiated a traffic stop, upon speaking to the defendant it was noted, they immediately detected the odor of intoxicating beverages emitting from the vehicle.

Caledonia Police administered the Field Sobriety Tests, which according to reports the defendant failed. Additionally the defendant was unable to provide a PBT sample, receiving an error message when he attempted

A search warrant and obtained and authorized and the defendant’s blood was drawn at Wheaten Franciscan Hospital. Police advised that the defendant was pulling away them as he was being taken to the blood draw room. The defendant began yelling at officers using profanities and racial slurs. The defendant then challenged an officer with the Caledonia Police Department to a fight telling him “take these handcuffs off and I’ll expletive you up”. He was directed to a chair where he continued to resist, the criminal complaint states.
