Brian Blair, 33 of Racine has been charged with Child Abuse-Intentionally Cause Harm and Possession of Cocaine/Coca(2nd+). He was given a $2,000 cash bond after making his initial appearance today in Racine Circuit Court. According to Racine County Jail records a hold has also been placed on him by the US Marshall Service for violation of federal probation.
According to the criminal complaint on November 1, 2015 Racine Police responded to a location for a report of child abuse. Upon arrival the officer made contact with the juvenile. The juvenile stated that she had been repeatedly struck with a plastic clothes hanger and her hair had been pulled by the suspect. Racine Police state there was bruising on the child and according to the complaint it was a result of being beaten a few days prior with a phone charger cord. Another juvenile had been struck with a clothes hanger for not bringing enough candy back from trick or treating.
According to an adult family member the defendant has been reportedly beating the two minor children since had had been released from federal prison a year ago and told police that the defendant has been calling the residence all day looking for the juveniles stating that “I’m going to beat the hell out of them when they get home”, the complaint states.
Racine Police took the defendant into custody and located 3.5 grams of cocaine on him.
