Man charged with heroin drug felonies after Racine Police execute search warrant at local hotel

Bobby Conners, 32 of Racine has been charged with three counts of Manufacture/Deliver Heroin (10-50g). He was given a $7,500 cash bond after making his initial appearance in Racine Circuit Courts Thursday afternoon. His Preliminary hearing is scheduled at 12-10-2015.

According to the criminal complaint on three separate occasions during October and November of 2015, the Racine Police Department Special Investigations Unit made controlled heroin purchases from the defendant. On December 2,2015, a search warrant was executed by Racine Police Department SIU at Riverside Inn located at 3700 Northwestern Ave. Officers located the defendant there along with 24 individual baggies filled with a tan substance which tested positive for heroin and weighed 2.6 grams. Investigators also recovered an additional baggie filled with three smaller baggies. Each of the three smaller baggies contained 50 individually packaged with a tan substance which also tested positive for heroin. The weight of those baggies was 16.4 grams. A safe in the bedroom of the hotel room contained a receipt with the defendants name on it for that room and $1,622 in US currency. According to reports a cell phone with the same phone number that Special Investigations called to make the buys was also recovered.
