Manhunt underway along the Kenosha/Racine border for suspect in Kenosha homicide

Update-Today, Deputies of the Kenosha Sheriff’s Department engaged in a high speed pursuit of a person of interest in the ongoing homicide investigation. The high speed pursuit travelled through areas of Salem and Brighton in Kenosha County and Kansasville and Union Grove in Racine County. The suspect was driving a stolen black 1988 Ford Mustang at very high speeds and ultimately eluded officers.

Wanted by the Kenosha Sheriff’s Department is ANDREW MARIO OBREGON, a white male with a date of birth 3-18-83. OBREGON is 5’8” tall 185 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes. OBREGON should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone seeing OBREGON is urged to immediately call 911.

During today’s investigation, OBREGON’s mother SUSAN MARIE OBREGON, 60 years old of Brighton, was arrested for obstructing this investigation and aiding a felon.

The area remains an active search for OBREGON. Assisting in the search are members of the Kenosha Sheriff’s Tactical Response Team, Racine Sheriff’s Department, Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, the AIR ONE helicopter.
