Case #15-23759
On 9/12/15 at 4:03am the Mount Pleasant Police Department was checking the area due to a previous reported burglary/home invasion in the 6200 block of Larchmont Drive when an officer noticed a garage door open in the 6300 block of Larchmont Drive. The officer made contact with the residents of the home. The residents then checked both of their vehicles which were parked in the garage. They discovered the vehicle had been entered and rummaged through.

Extra attention will be given to the area as well as other residential areas throughout the Village. Both of these incidents remain under investigation.

Citizens should remove or conceal any valuable items in their vehicles, lock their car doors, and close their garage doors. Exterior lighting can also minimize the chances of you becoming a victim. Most criminals don’t want to be seen or heard.
