Mount Pleasant Police investigating threat against Case High School

Racine Unified has sent out robocalls to all Case H.S. families along with posting this on their website

“Good afternoon Case families. This is Principal Bloyer.

Im communicating with you to inform you of a phone threat received by the Mount Pleasant Police Department regarding Case High School. As you may have seen in the news, there have been similar reports at schools across the state. Police have been calling it a scam.

Our local police are investigating this right now and we are working with them as well as our school based officers to take appropriate action to ensure the safety of our school. They have recommended that we keep students inside for lunch today as a precautionary measure and anyone entering or leaving the building will be required to use only the main entrance door and will be subject to search.

It is extremely important to myself and to this staff that we take every step in both practicing and ensuring the utmost safety of our entire school community. I am proud of our staff and students for the collaborative efforts they are showing in this precautionary time.

I will follow-up with you as soon as I have more information.

Thank you for your support.

Principal Bloyer”
