New Homeless Shelter to Open in Racine


HOST artwork RACINE, WI April 8, 2016 -Segue Racine, Inc., announces a new homeless shelter opening at 961 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive. Beginning mid-summer 2016, we will accept those needing shelter from 7 PM to 7 AM. The shelter will be a safe and welcoming place to sleep and shower; it will comply with all municipal ordinances.

We are grateful to Terry and Gloria Pogofsky of Glenview, IL, for donating the building, and to Racine Mayor John Dickert and County Executive Jonathan Delagrave for their assistance and support.
