No one injured in Tuesday evening fire on Old Mill Road

RFD logo On Tuesday, September 1,2015 at 4:35 p.m. the Racine Fire Department along with the Racine Police Department responded to a structure fire at 2746 Old Mill Road.

According to the Racine Fire Department “A garage caught fire igniting the attatched apartment. Firefighters extinguished the fire quickly, shut off the power to both the home and garage and checked for extension.The home owner was unharmed and waiting for relatives. We Energies will not restore power to the unit at this time. The fire is under investigation.” There is an estimated loss of $75,000 to Structure/ $20,000 to Contents/ $1,000 to Vehicle.
