Jeff Erickson is a 16 year dedicated member of the Caledonia Fire Department who takes pride in organizing the yearly MDA fundraiser, fire department open house and public CPR. He is a very social upbeat member with 3 kids and several nick names such as “Jack”, “Giggles” and “The Concierge”. Jeff is someone who would be on the other end of a fundraiser, helping someone out.

Jeff was recently diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia and has been in and out of the hospital since July 8th. He had just purchased a new home 2 weeks before being diagnosed and has barely yet to live in it. Jeff has a long road of treatments ahead of him. His discharge home will only be for 3 weeks at a time, after which he will be readmitted to the hospital for a weeks stay to complete an aggressive chemotherapy routing which includes several 12 hour and 24 hour infusions. This treatment regimen will continue for the next 6-8 months. After this schedule,

Jeff will have to continue a maintenance dose of chemotherapy for 3 years. To help with medical costs such as hospital stays, co-pays, deductibles and treatments not covered by insurance a benefit will be held in Jeff’s honorAll proceeds will go directly to Jeff.
