For the second year in a row, Olive Garden’s Never Ending Pasta Pass sold out in less than one-hour – this year, 2,000 passes were sold in seconds. But one man in Racine didn’t have to wait in line to receive it.
As part of its commitment to the community, every Olive Garden restaurant in the nation was given the opportunity to present an individual Pasta Pass and a Family Pasta Pass to a deserving person in the community. The Olive Garden on Durand Avenue will be presenting Brian Wenzel and his family with a Pasta Pass of their own.
Just last month, Wenzel, a correctional officer, saved an Olive Garden employee’s life after she suffered a seizure and stopped breathing.
For seven weeks, from Oct. 5 through Nov. 22, the Wenzel family will have access to never-ending pasta, homemade sauces, pasta toppings, soup or salad, breadsticks and Coca-Cola® soft drinks as many times as they would like at Olive Garden.
