Overnight accident injuries 6, sending 2 Flight for Life to Milwaukee

rapd 1This morning, June 20th, at 2:29am, officers responded to a single vehicle accident in the 3700 block of North Main St. Initial investigation indicates the vehicle was traveling north on North Main St. when it lost control, left the roadway, striking a tree. There were a total of six (6) injured occupants, two (2) of which were transported via Flight for Life to Milwaukee.

Racine Police Department Traffic Unit, Major Crimes / Incident evidence technicians, and State Patrol, have been activated and are conducting the investigation at this time.

Due to the fact this incident is on the Lighthouse Run route, It is advised that participants check with Lighthouse Run administrators for updates on route or time changes.
