Pleasant Prairie Police Investigate Car Jacking

pppdOn June 3, 2016 at approximately 2:00 p.m., Pleasant Prairie Police responded to Premium Outlets located at 11211 120th Avenue for a report of a carjacking. A 37-year-old female stated that she had parked her 2012 black Dodge Durango in the parking lot near the north end of the shopping complex when she was approached by a male suspect armed with a handgun.

The suspect approached the victim and demanded her car, money and cell phone. The female victim complied with the suspect’s demands. The suspect left with her vehicle and was last seen heading north. Another vehicle, which was possibly involved, was seen traveling north, following the victim’s vehicle. The second vehicle was described as a 2011 to 2015 silver Hyundai Sonata.

The stolen Durango was recovered by the Milwaukee Police Department, in Milwaukee, on Saturday, June 4. The armed suspect was described as a black male who is approximately 5’6” to 5’8” tall.
