Racine County Sheriff’s Office have named person responsible for Courthouse bomb threat


RCSOOn Monday, October 26, 2015, a bomb threat was called into the Racine County Courthouse located in the City of Racine. As a result, the Racine County Sheriffs Office launched an investigation into the matter in order to determine who was responsible for communicating that threat.

Over the course of the last month and a half Sheriffs investigators have conducted extensive follow-up in order to bring this case to a conclusion. Ultimately investigators have identified Racine resident Lee R. Lucas M/W 12/31/69 as the individual responsible for the threat. Based on investigator findings Lucas is being held at the Racine County Jail on felony charges, in addition to unrelated misdemeanor charges.

The investigation into this matter is currently ongoing and there is no further information available at this time.
