Racine man charged after selling crack cocaine during Racine Police SIU Investigation

Anthony A Woods, 31 of Racine has been charged with three counts of
felony Manufacture/Deliver Cocaine (>1-5g) and three counts of Bail Jumping-Felony. He was given a $10,000 cash bond after making his initial appearance in Racine Circuit Courts Wednesday afternoon. His Preliminary hearing is scheduled for May 11, 2016.

According to the criminal complaint during the month of April 2016 the Racine Police Department Special Investigations Unit made controlled purchases of crack cocaine from the defendant. The first transaction a total of 1.1 grams were purchased, the second transaction .42 grams were purchased and on the third a .56 grams were purchased.

On May 3, 2016 officers executed a search warrant at the defendants residence. The was no drug evidence located inside the residence, but the defendant was in possession of the cell phone used to make the drug transactions. Woods allegedly admitted to selling crack cocaine during an interview with Investigators. He was currently out on bond for a 2015 case, the complaints states.
