Racine Police investigating attempted homicide 2 people shot overnight

rapd 1On Sunday, January 10, 2016, at 1:38 am, officers responded to RoJos tavern, 1317 Yout St, reference a shooting. Upon their arrival, they located a 23 year old victim suffering from a gunshot wound to his chest. He was transport to Wheaton Franciscan Medical Center where he is being treated for his injuries.

Approximately 20 minutes later, a 21 year old victim arrived at Wheaton suffering from a gunshot wound to his leg which he stated he received at RoJos tavern. The 21 year old victim was treated for injuries and transported to Racine County Jail for outstanding warrants.

Major Crimes Unit and investigators were activated. The investigation is ongoing, and no suspects are in custody.
