Racine Police investigating Friday morning accident on Douglas Ave.

accident1At 8:30 a.m., May 22, 2015, the Racine Police Department responded to the 3500 block of Douglas Avenue for a two-vehicle accident involving female operators. One of the drivers was taken to Wheaton Franciscan Hospital by rescue where she is currently being treated for her injuries. We have not received any confirmed information on the severity of those injuries at this time.

The investigation is active and ongoing, and the Wisconsin State Patrol has responded to assist Racine Police Traffic Bureau in the investigation of this accident. No further information is being released at this time.
