Racine Police investigating Tuesday night armed robbery

rapd 1On Tuesday, February 16th, 2016, at 9:43pm, officers responded to Dominos Pizza, 5100 Washington Ave, regarding a report of an armed robbery of a delivery driver. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the driver who stated he was attempting to make a delivery in the 4600 block of Olive St. when he was confronted by a single suspect who aimed a pistol at him and demanded money. The delivery driver stated he gave the suspect money, after which the suspect fled. No injuries were reported at this time.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 20-25 years old, about 5′ to 5’5″, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt. The suspect was armed with what appeared to be a handgun.
