Racine Police seek armed robbery suspect

robbery suspect On Wednesday, July 15, 2015, at 8:56 a.m., officers responded to the Dollar Tree at 3900 Erie Street reference an armed robbery. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated that he was working in the rear storage area of the store when he was approached by the black male suspect. The suspect asked for a cigarette then displayed a dark colored revolver and demanded money. The victim provided the suspect with money from his wallet at which time the suspect fled the storage area through the rear of the store.

The victim told the officers that the suspect was familiar to him because he had approached him about three weeks ago at the Dollar Tree requesting information about employment opportunities.

Investigators have identified a suspect in the robbery, and are looking for Dominique D. Bryant, 03/23/1993. Bryant is also is wanted for questioning by Kenosha PD reference a shooting incident in their jurisdiction. Bryant is believed to be armed with a small caliber revolver, and may be in the Racine / Kenosha area.
