Martaesian D Riley, 24 of Racine has been charged with three counts of Armed Robbery with Threat of Force and one count of 1st Deg. Sexual Assault-Use/Dang.Weapon.
He was given a $250,000 cash bond after making his initial appearance in Racine Circuit Court. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for 10-14-2015

According to the criminal complaint, on October 6th Racine Police were dispatched to the area of Randolph and Liberty Streets. Upon arrival police made contact with 3 parties, one of which stated she was a prostitute and had been working the area. She stated she was contacted by a party (identified as the defendant) from an online ad, and was directed to respond to the area.

According to the victim once arriving, she was directed to a boarded up house and states that the defendant grabbed her from behind and put a gun to the back of her head. The suspect ordered her to give him all her money and then sexually assaulted her while holding her at gunpoint.

The complaint states that once the defendant was finished assaulting her he ordered her to contact her ride. The 2 people in the vehicle arrived and were robbed at gunpoint by the defendant. Racine police were able to trace the phone number that responded to the online ad and tracked it to the defendant on facebook who was positively ID’d the suspect.

When Racine Police interviewed the defendant, he stated that a crazy girl was making accusations, then stated he had made arrangements for sexual activity and then reneged on his arrangement, and did not pay the woman, the complaint states. He denied sending pictures of a white man to the woman but when confronted he admitted sending it stating that “girls on those sites don’t want to do black guys”. The complaint states that Racine Police are aware of other incidents involving an escort receiving a picture of a white male, responded to a location and a black male attempted to rob her at gunpoint.
