Teen faces 17 felony charges after stealing cars from multiple dealerships

handcuffsJavon N V’Dillie, 17 of Milwaukee has been charged with four counts of felony Burglary-Building or Dwelling, seven counts of felony Theft-Movable Property >$10,000, and six counts of felony Criminal Damage to Property (Over $2500). He was given a $10,000 cash bond after appearing in Racine Circuit Courts Wednesday afternoon. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for September 8,2016.

According to the complaint, Mount Pleasant Police took multiple reports of car dealerships being burglarized and vehicles stolen.
On July 4th-A burglary with thefts of vehicles was reported by Porcaro Ford located at 6001 Washington Ave.
During that incident Mount Pleasant Police observed one of the stolen vehicles involved and pursued it until the juvenile suspect crashed the vehicle, causing it to flip and start on fire. The juvenile defendant fled on foot and was caught by Mount Pleasant Police.

On July 7th-Mount Pleasant Police responded to Palmen Dodge Jeep for after alarms activated at the dealership. Upon arrival officers discovered that someone had attempted to steal a Jeep Cherokee by driving it off the showroom floor and through a window but fled the scene after the vehicle had become stuck.

On July 7th-Officers responded to the Toyota Dealership on Kilbourn Drive in Mount Pleasant and observed a Toyota Corolla had been driven through the garage door and had been left running in the parking lot. A Toyota RAV 4.

On July 13th-Sturtevant Police responded to the Racine Hyundai on Washington Ave., for a report of a burglary and two vehicles were stolen.

At each dealership there was several thousands of dollars to damages to the building and other vehicles.

According to the criminal complaint, on August 13 at 1:27 p.m. Milwaukee Police located the stolen black Elantra and took the defendant into custody. Investigators met with the defendant who admitted his part in the burglaries and stealing vehicles stating what he and has friends had done. He also allegedly admitted to in another burglary where a vehicle from a dealership was stolen Ozaukee County.

Milwaukee Police also recovered the blue Accent with 4 juveniles inside that was also reported stolen.
