Two arrested, one apprehended by K9 Friday after he runs from warrant being served for heroin

RACINE-On 05/04/16, agents from the Racine County Metro Drug Unit served a search warrant in the 900 block of Wisconsin Avenue, City of Racine.

As Metro agents were making a forced entry into the front door of the residence, the suspect, Thomas J. Brucker, age 24, ran out the back door where Racine County Sheriffs deputy and K9 partner Friday were positioned. The suspect was ordered to stop by the Sheriffs deputy but Brucker refused and kept running.

K-9 Friday was called upon to assist in the apprehension and arrest of Thomas Brucker. Brucker was treated at All Saints Hospital for dog bite wounds to his arm and taken to the Racine County Jail.

Stephanie M. Darge, age 31 was located inside the residence and was also arrested and taken to the Racine County Jail.

Heroin, a digital scale, drug packaging material and a large amount of drug paraphernalia were seized during the search. Both Brucker and Darge placed into the Racine County Jail on the following charges:

-Possession of heroin with intent to deliver
-Possession of drug paraphernalia
-Keeper of a drug house for sales

Mr. Brucker also faces one charge of delivering heroin
