For the seventeenth consecutive year, Racine Neighborhood Watch, Inc. is partnering with Group Workcamp to do home repair and rehabilitation projects in Racine. To date, over 900 homes have been revitalized by youth (ages 14-19) from across the county whose mission is to do community service work.
Group WorkCamp is a non-profit organization which recruits and assigns young people with diverse religious backgrounds to areas around the country whose residents need assistance in home repair. Racine was chosen as one of 45 destination sites and will be hosting over 400 student volunteers. Racine Neighborhood Watch works with Group Workcamp participants on homeowner projects such as interior/exterior painting, porch repair, and more. Labor and materials are provided at NO COST to the homeowner.
