A STRONG COLD FRONTAL PASSAGE WILL SHIFT THE WINDS TO THE WEST
TO SOUTHWEST THIS EVENING. WINDS WILL GUST TO 45 TO 50 MPH FOR
MUCH OF THE NIGHT. THE WINDS WILL SUBSIDE ON THURSDAY AS THE
STRONG LOW PRESSURE AREA MOVES AWAY.

THURSDAY…

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MILWAUKEE/SULLIVAN HAS ISSUED A
WIND ADVISORY…WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 8 PM THIS EVENING TO 6 AM
CST THURSDAY.

* TIMING…STRONG WEST TO SOUTHWEST WINDS ALONG AND BEHIND THE
COLD FRONTAL PASSAGE BEGINNING FROM 8 PM TO 9 PM OVER SOUTH
CENTRAL WISCONSIN AND 9 PM TO 11 PM OVER SOUTHEAST WISCONSIN.
THE WINDS WILL SUBSIDE BY SUNRISE ON THURSDAY.

* WINDS…WEST TO SOUTHWEST AROUND 30 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 45 TO 50
MPH.

* IMPACTS…HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES WILL BE IMPACTED ESPECIALLY ON
ELEVATED BRIDGES AND OVERPASSES. OBJECTS SUCH AS GARBAGE CANS
AND SIGNS CAN BE BLOWN OVER.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

A WIND ADVISORY MEANS THAT SUSTAINED WINDS OF AT LEAST 30 MPH
AND/OR WIND GUSTS OF 45 MPH OR GREATER ARE EXPECTED. WINDS THIS
STRONG CAN MAKE DRIVING DIFFICULT…ESPECIALLY FOR HIGH PROFILE
VEHICLES. USE EXTRA CAUTION.
