Wind advisory issued for Southeast Wisconsin Saturday from 10 am-7pm

NWSBlustery, wintery weather returns today. Snow showers will affect all of southern Wisconsin this morning. Scattered rain and snow showers are expected in the afternoon. Untreated roadways may become slippery this morning due to an inch or two of snowfall. Strong winds are also expected, gusting as high as 40 to 45 mph later this morning and afternoon. High temperatures will only be in the 35 to 40 range.

The National Weather Service has issued a wind ADVISORY for all of southeast Wisconsin to be in effect from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. on Saturday, April 2nd.

A wind ADVISORY means that winds of 35 m.p.h. are expected. Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high-profile vehicles. Drivers are urged to use extra caution.
