Woman allegedly robs and stabs person who was trying to help her

valerie fisher Valerie Fisher, 33 of Racine has been charged with Armed Robbery with Use of Force, Aggravated Battery, and two counts of .Bail Jumping-Misdemeanor. She was given a $10,000 cash bond and her preliminary hearing is scheduled for June 8th.

According to the criminal complaint on May 22, 2016 Racine Police responded for calls of a robbery and stabbing in the 1400 block of 12th Street. Upon arrival officers spoke with the victim who stated she was robbed and stabbed by the defendant. The victim stated the defendant was homeless and she had been trying to help her with clothes and food. The defendant arrived at the victims home and was allowed in with another party. At one point the defendant wanted alcohol and drugs and demanded money from the victim. The victim refused and the defendant became aggressive punching the victim at least a dozen times in the back.

The defendant then reportedly pulled out a serrated steak knife and stabbed the victim twice in the hand and in the leg. The other party that was present at the time was not involved in the robbery and tried to stop the defendant during the incident
