Woman arrested after Deputies find victim who had been stabbed in the arm

jail barsOn Sunday 9/13/15 the Racine County Communications Center dispatched deputies to the 15000 block of Durand Ave. in the Town of Yorkville, for a mental subject. Dispatch advised they received a call indicating a male party had sustained lacerations that may have been self inflicted.

Upon arrival deputies were met by an uncooperative female later identified as Devin Marie Lincoln F/W 09/06/1994. Lincoln directed deputies to a male victim who sustained what appeared to be a stab wound to his left arm. Deputies were able to provide immediate medical care to the victim on scene and he was transferred to Wheaton Franciscan for additional treatment.

During the course of the investigation, deputies were able to determine that prior to their arrival Lincoln was involved in an argument with the victim. Evidence at the scene suggested that at some point Lincoln stabbed the victim and proceeded to call 911.

Due to her involvement in the incident Lincoln was taken into custody and conveyed to the Racine County Jail where she is being held on felony and misdemeanor charges. The investigation into this incident is ongoing; there is no additional information available at this time.
