Woman charged after stabbing her boyfriend

kizzy sims Kizzy R. Sims, 39 of Racine has been charged with 1st Degree Reckless Injury, Disorderly Conduct, Possession of Cocaine and three counts of Possess Drug Paraphernalia. She was given a $10,000 bond after making her initial appearance in Racine Circuit Courts Monday afternoon.

According to the criminal complaint on June 10,2016 Racine Police responded to the 1600 block of Martin Luther King Drive reference an assault report. Upon arrival officers spoke to the victim who stated he had been stabbed by his girlfriend who had fled the scene and could be at a nearby residence.

Officers spoke with witnesses who stated they were with the couple so that the defendant could get her belongings from the residence to make sure they didn’t argue. Witnesses stated that the couple entered the residence and a short time later the victim can running out bleeding heavily from the arm. The witness removed his shirt to try to stop the bleeding and observed the defendant walk out of the house with a large “butcher knife” and casually walked from the area to a nearby residence as if nothing had happened.

The complaint reads that the defendant stated that while they were in the house walking through the kitchen he heard a “ching” noise and observed the defendant was trying to stab him in the back. The victim attempted to stop the attack and suffered a wound to his arm. The defendant allegedly told the victim “I’m finna expletive you up”. The victim was transported to the hospital where officers observed the wound and stated that it took 10-12 stitches to close.

The defendant was found hiding in a nearby residence. The defendant was taken into custody and during a search of her purse, officers recovered two crack pipes, a marijuana pipe and a white substance which tested positive for cocaine.
