South Shore Fire Department Battles Early Morning Fire

The South Shore Fire Department, Mount Pleasant Police and the Racine Fire Bells are on scene on Lawndale Ave in Lake Park for a house fire. Calls came in around 2 a.m. for a reported house fire.  A Mabas box alarm was activated for surrounding jurisdictions. The Racine Fire Bells were dispatched due to the frigid temperatures that firefighters were dealing with. Parties were transported to the hospital for unknown injuries, 2 parties were transferred to Milwaukee area hospitals. As of a little after 6 a.m. some fire crews were returning to service.
7:05 am-Additional personnel are responding to the scene to relieve fire crews

The cause of the fire is under investigation at this time.

The family has lost everything. Fire victims from Lawndale Fire this morning. Sizes adult male party Men size, 2x, size 42×34, Shoe size 11 CLOTHING SIZES FOR THE WOMAN AND LITTLE BOY…Woman 3 x, Child is a 5t. Shoe size for them 10 shoe, Little boy shoe size is 1.
